Pumps: Designing pumps involves selecting the right type (centrifugal, positive displacement, etc.), sizing components, specifying materials, and ensuring efficiency and reliability in fluid handling applications.
Compressors: Designing compressors includes choosing between different types (rotary, reciprocating, centrifugal), optimizing compression ratios, ensuring safety, and integrating with other systems.
Boilers: Boiler design involves determining heat transfer surfaces, combustion chamber design, material selection for high temperatures and pressures, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and efficiency in heat generation.
Turbines: Turbine design includes aerodynamic considerations, mechanical stress analysis, material selection for high rotational speeds and temperatures, and efficiency in converting fluid energy (steam, gas) into mechanical energy.
Blowers and Fans: Designing blowers and fans involves selecting appropriate fan types (centrifugal, axial), optimizing blade profiles for efficiency and noise reduction, considering airflow characteristics, and integrating with ductwork or ventilation systems.
Heat Exchangers: Designing heat exchangers includes determining surface area for heat transfer, optimizing fluid flow paths, selecting materials compatible with heat transfer fluids, and ensuring thermal efficiency.
Pressure Vessels: Pressure vessel design focuses on withstanding internal pressure, material selection for strength and corrosion resistance, compliance with ASME or other codes, and ensuring safety under various operating conditions.
Storage tanks: systems involves considering load capacities, material flow dynamics, safety mechanisms, and integration with other processes.
Flare : Designing seals and bearings includes selecting appropriate types (mechanical, hydraulic), ensuring lubrication and cooling, optimizing for wear resistance, and enhancing reliability in rotating machinery.
